Meet the ladies

Lavender

She was the runt of the family. She loves extra attention and is not afraid of people. Lavender enjoys being held and was once visited school during show-and-tell. She likes smelling other chicken’s butts.

Fiddle

She loves extra attention as well. She’s very cute and cuddly. When you try to catch her to hold her in your arms she likes to sit down. Sometimes when you are holding her she says, “never mind,” by flapping her wings. She likes playing the flute.

Graham Cracker

Graham Cracker is one of the twins. She is the twin to Marshmallow. She’s very funny and likes to make goofy faces (like in this photo). She has special copper coloring on her wings. She likes to eat S’mores.

Marshmallow

Marshmallow is the other twin. Even though chickens can’t fly far, Marshmallow sure does try by leaping very far. Maybe one day she’ll try so hard to fly that she will do the longest leap the world has ever seen. She likes warm hugs.

VIKING

We call Viking our guardian because Coco is the Queen and Viking tries to protect her. Viking is one of the chickens we have with red around their eyes. We love the colors on her tail because it goes from gray to dark black. She likes to sail in boats.

Heihei

Heihei is one of the best egg layers we have. She lays an egg almost every day. Her eggs are brown with dark speckles on them. She’s also not the smartest chicken because she’s always getting stuck behind the coop. She likes the movie Moana.

Oreo

Oreo is also a guardian to Queen Coco. She likes to sunbathe and give herself dust baths. Oreo has fun patterns on her feathers and doesn’t eat chocolate or Oreos. She likes to eat sushi

Olive

Olive’s eggs are the rarest eggs we have because she only lays every 4-5 days. She lays olive colored eggs and likes to hide them in the bushes. She likes to wear Adidas running shoes.

Snowy (aka stuffy fluffy)

Snowy is our best egg layer. She lays her special blue eggs every day. She is soft and she is fast. Our dog Chuck Norris likes to chase her around the yard. Snowy likes to go on field trips with elementary students.

Coco

Coco is the Queen of the yard because she was very shy. So we made her Queen to try to help her feel better. She looks a lot like Fiddle and we confuse the two a lot. She likes to eat mashed potatoes.

Sophia williams

Sophia Williams was named by the Odum kids. Sophia is learning to fly. Please don’t tell her that chickens can’t really fly that far. She likes sunsets and long walks on the beach.

Blackbird

Blackbird’s full name is, “Blackbird Singing In The Dead Of Mine.” She’s the only bird Ezra named and she loves being held by him. She is a very fast bird and she’s our only chicken with all black eyes. She likes going to Disneyland.
